Blood Princes Banished
March 25, 2010 - Following our rescue earlier in the week, we moved on to The Crimson Hall. Revisiting some enemies earlier seen elsewhere, we dispatched the Blood Prince Council with ease.
Valithria Rescued
March 23, 2010 - Venturing deeper into Icecrown Citadel, we went to the Frostwing Halls to rescue the green dragon Valithria Dreamwalker. With our sturdy healers entering the portals and providing health to Valithria, we freed her from the nightmares that held her trapped!
In the Plaguewings
February 9, 2010 - After some work getting enough people available, we took to the inner reaches of Icecrown Citadel, to the putrid Plagueworks. Much to the dismay of Professor Putricide, we dispatched his two horrid creations, Festergut and Rotface.

Marrowgar Marooned!
December 22, 2009 - "Come stick around" was the battle cry of the day for Lord Marrowgar, however we had different plans in mind. After lots of careful tweaking of what to do.... like "DON'T STAND IN FIRE", or "DON'T DPS AT THE END OF BONE STORM", and the ever popular "PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD KILL THE BONE SPIKES!!!!" we finished off the monstrous Marrowgar. Not much later, we blazed through Lady Deathwhisper, the Chess event of ICC on the Gunship, and the endlessly talking Deathbringer Saurfang. On to the inner citadel!

Into Icecrown Citadel
December 1, 2009 - All across Northrend, many battles have been fought against the vile Scourge. Countless lives have been lost since the Alliance and the Horde first reached these frozen wastes, but the champions of Azeroth continue to march forward -- and Icecrown Citadel, the cornerstone of the Scourge's power and the home base of the Lich King, is their final target. Tirion Fordring and the Argent Crusade have forged an accord with Darion Mograine and the Knights of the Ebon Blade to form the Ashen Verdict. This coalition's strongest combatants, along with the champions of the Alliance and the Horde, will lead the charge against the citadel. In the new Icecrown Citadel raid dungeon, Azeroth's mightiest will face terrifying challenges before ascending to the Frozen Throne, where the Lich King and his runeblade, Frostmourne, await to deliver the heroes to their deaths....
Reiv Does 10 Men: Glory of the Ulduar Raider
October 3, 2009 (By Reiv) - It's taken so many long days and weeks in there of wiping. I can remember back when normal modes were so friggin' hard.
Our first milestone was killing Mimiron on normal mode after wiping on him for 2 weeks straight. The next one was our Yogg kill which was super sweet! Then came our hard mode campaign, we started off with XT hardmode, then moved on to Iron Council, we then managed to down Thorim Hardmode. The first difficult hardmodes began when we killed Hodir, FL Four Tower, Freya 3 Elder, then Vezax Hardmode, then came the hardest of them all: Mimiron. It took us an additional 2 weeks of wiping just like normal mode but when we killed him it was so awesome. We then saved the raid ID and moved on to Yogg +1.
After about a week, and still being plagued with our roster problems we managed to enlist the aid of Kyzher (a Rogue from Moment of Clarity, who we had to explain the fight to as he had not done it on normal lol), Atlen (awesome lock from Moment of Clarity except that he is especially verbose more so that night cos' he was drunk), and our very own Rainesage (who did an exceptional job of cloud-dodging and dispelling).
Our attempts the day before (Friday night) came very close but still no cigar, but we finally cleaned up our act the next day as we waltzed in their and one shotted that stupid old god! It wasn't all down to pure strategy though because this fight is much like FL 4 Tower in that it has a big RNG aspect to it in terms of keeping your sanity. Most of the sanity reducing skills of Sarah are very random (especially for the topside team), and with Freya not helping (we chose to bring down Thorim for our 1 Watcher) there is no way to get your sanity back. So a combination of good luck (because Elm was drunk) and good performances from everybody contributed to the kill.
There is such a long list of people involved but I'd like to thank each one involved for putting up with the wipes and the occasional bad vibes that wipes and progression lead to.
So thank you so much to Supermayne and Elminator for being my lovers and co-leading this group with me, for looking up strats, and keeping us up when things seem down.
Thank you to the Ever-Leet Liempo who's bubbles are constantly missed.
Thank you to Beivin the Blizzard man who's Mage Tanking shenanigans are sorely missed (and of course that tasty Arcane Intelligence).
Thank you to Orris The Dying who makes Raptordelta look good (which is a bad thing) but also for that incredible Windfury Totem.
Thank you to Mewness the Many (because she has 48 million alts) who's hots are the stuff of legend and who's internet connection is so mythical it practically doesn't exist (gimme a spanking Wini).
Thank you to Satou The Pro-mising, no words can describe this man you must touch him to experience him. His love of tanking is offset only by his love for his significant other: Mewness.
Thank you to Johncoy the Asian Sensation. Hots that heal the world second only to MJ himself. And who's cafe has been my home for the past few weeks.
And last and more importantly least, Raptordelta the unfortunate. Unfortunate only in the sense that he is himself but quite fortunate in that he finds himself in my group! Just kidding, we love you man, no matter your shitty chain heals, or your shitty chain lightnings, you make our group lively and your constant chatter improves morale and makes people DC.
Thanks also so much to the folks that have helped us through the months on hardmodes and easy modes alike and have contributed their gold to repair bills: Fermtayeule, Arithol, Johnice, Sinulog, Dorgana, Atlen, Jimma, Fiish, Vanthira.
And also thanks to the original pinoy boys who helped this group get off the ground and who are now busy with real life: Johnwee, Johnwey, Johnnybegood, Johnter, Johnesting, Megarad, and Recta.
Most of all though, thank you Someguild for being such and awesome place to play WOW in and to all the nice people that make this guild work and keep it running as smooth as the butt cheeks of Jimma's mom. We love you.

OS3D
October 1, 2009 (By Methedras) - Much like everyone's favorite Packer... no, not that kind of packer Beef... I've found that retirement=hard. What can I say? I can't quit you. So, I've snuck my way into a raid here and there while my account is still active, and last night's was one I was glad not to miss!! The agenda wasn't entirely clear due to some light attendance numbers, but the plan was to start with the Brood Mother and go from there. Who needs the appropriate number of healers and a balance of classes....this is old school....we got this....right? Guys?Well, it wasn't pretty, and it involved the walk of shame...not once, but twice....but we got the job done.
More importantly, we got to quote everyone's favorite douchebag raid leader... no, not Jimma....that German dude that lost it back in the day...you know "Many whelps - left side!" and share some laughs together.
Then our numbers shrank some more as we headed to VoA and dropped a few folks that were already locked out for the week. Now we had to switch to the leatherworking Blessing of Kings equivalent too...I was seriously wondering if I'd have the money to repair....but we had a few more folks step up to join in the fun and we were back in business. Some folks grabbed some loot and we decided to push our luck and up the ante a bit. We grabbed a few more folks and actually had a full raid now.
We had never beat the 25-Man OS3D encounter. Shameful I know. So we hopped onto our mounts and headed south to Dragonblight. We eviscerated the trash and then wiped a few times. We had a couple folks that had never seen the encounter before and our DPS was looking to be on the light side. We made some tweaks to help accomodate and a few attempts later....all three drakes were down!!! We excitedly piled into the portal, ripped up the acolytes, and when we emerged we knew victory was at hand. Cuer still had Sartharion under control and the worst was over. We played it conservative and made sure to beat down any adds as they came up and a minute or so later we had pulled it off!!
Congrats to Rainesage on her new flying mount and to the other twenty-four clowns sporting a new title. Thanks to everyone for having me along and pulling together for a fun night of raiding.

Trial of the Crusader, cleared!
September 22, 2009 - We had little problem handling what was thrown at us by the first two encounters. Northrend Beasts, Lord Jaraxxusand their minions were easily destroyed. We ran into some headaches with the Faction Champions because as it turns out, Hellraiser and Crepto are just horrible at PVP. However after some coaching from PVP master extraordinaire Jimma, the Faction Champions were given the dirt nap they deserved. The Twins were also no match for Someguild's persistence, and fell soon after. This lead us up to the infestation underneath the floorboards of the Arena, one so kindly pointed out by Arthas. He even showed us how to get down there to take care of the problem! He's such a nice guy.
Unscathed from the fall (except for when someone left Path of Frost turned on), Someguild ran into the fight ready to terminate Anub'arak once more. This is where we wiped repeatedly... After a few wipes however a strategy was formed and solidified. We were able to balance our DPS targets enough to get Anub'arak burned down before he enraged, securing us yet another victory.
Congrats to the loot winners!
